When I go on runs I always sort of tip my head and say, “how ya doing?” to people I pass, real casual you know? Problem is when I run and it’s above 80 people get really concerned and reply, “I’m fine. How are YOU???” With a very worried look about them. They follow it up with “are you going to be okay?” Only then do I remember that I’m a ginger and they’re concerned because my face is the color of a cherry tomato and they genuinely believe they’re about to see a stranger die.
Joe surprised me in Chicago by walking for a long time and the. Suddenly appearing at his proposal spot! Ohhhhh the memories.
Last night we had just the lovliest time celebrating the end of graduate school for Joe and his friends. The four guys pictured together were all members of Joe’s group for his big capstone project. Great people and hopefully all friends for years to come.
Cheers to you, Mr. Giant.
And a big, nay GIANT, thank you to Joe’s wonderful parents for surprising us with a bottle of champagne and a sparkling banana split! In our backyard before dinner with friends last night. Love how Joe pulls of MN on top and SC on bottom! And just take a look at his legs….👌
