Spring Break
Yesterday saw HUNGER GAMES with boyfriend. Jennifer Lawrence steals the show (as Katniss should). Sat next to the neatest ten-year-old who whispered to me the whole movie. At one point he was scratching his leg and said, “Sorry I have this thing with my leg.” I said “Don’t worry!” and he glared at me and said “I DON’T like to TALK ABOUT IT.”

A lovely weekend leads into Spring Break!
Joe and enjoyed a lovely, relaxing weekend. Friday night after he played piano bar we went to our favorite pizza shop in Edina (Mozza Mia) and then watched some March Madness at our favorite neighborhood (but not local) bar (Old Chicago). Cooking Confession
I am sitting here ready to confess that before today I had never used a crockpot. Yes, I have eaten crockpot cooking before, but I have never personally attempted. I used to just shrug and pretend to understand when a girlfriend would say “Yea, I just threw some stuff in the CrockPot this morning so I’m not worried about dinner.” But today. I took the leap.

After a 60 degree day on Tuesday, I assumed that the perils of winter had passed. Even when Minnesotans scoffed at me, I wasn’t phased. I was practically ready to go out in shorts, but compromised by just not wearing 2+ pairs of pants everyday.

I am so glad its Friday. It was a tough week with two midterms, lots of constitutional law, and very little time with my dear Joe. We’ll still both be studying most of the weekend but at least we’ll be together, its the best thing afterall.
