Katie’s here y’all! When she got in on Thursday night we took her to our favorite pizza joint Mozza Mia and then we went to Cafe Lurcat over Loring Park. Friday night we went to see a local production of Hairspray (starring some of Joe’s ShoutHouse co-workers!) which was really great. After the show we made dinner at home and just enjoyed a movie night at home.
Yesterday we went to my work’s “Summer Social” which was at a restaurant called Pinstripes. We had a bowling tournament with all of my co-workers and their families. Joe was on the winning team, but Katie played really well too. As for me? I had fun. We also played croquet!
Then last night we went to see The Campaign with our friends Dave and Claire and then skipped across the street to a Polish Festival. We had a few drinks down by St. Anthony Main at a place called Tuggs Tavern and then progressed to Nye’s Pollonaise where we drank brews, listened to Polka music, and people watched.
This morning Katie and I had a Indian food at the Namaste Cafe and then watched the Twins lose to the Rays while Joe played piano. Katie is here for another day, but I’ll be back at work tomorrow so this is probably the end of interesting stories.
